Installation Instructions

The Sync Bookmarks Utility setup program must be downloaded and saved to your hard drive before proceeding with installation. To get your copy, go to the Download page.

NOTE: Remember the location on your hard drive where the setup program was saved to.

Once you've downloaded the setup program, follow these three easy steps:

To install the Sync Bookmarks Utility:

1. Close all programs that are currently running.
2. Using Windows Explorer, locate the setup program, which is named syncbkmk-setup.exe. Double-click on it to launch the setup program.
3. Follow the directions in the setup program. It is recommended that you accept the program folder that it suggests (typically C:\Program Files\MozTools).

When installation is completed, Sync Bookmarks will be added as a program item on the Windows Start menu.

Uninstalling the Sync Bookmarks Utility

Removal of the Sync Bookmarks Utility is done through the Windows Control Panel.

To uninstall the Sync Bookmarks Utility:

1. Click on the Windows Start button, point the mouse cursor to Settings, then click Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel window, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
3. Scroll down the list box until you find the entry "Sync Bookmarks Utility". Select that entry and then click Remove.
4. Follow the instructions in the dialog boxes that follow.
